Illustrator and Author Deborah Phipps begins cover for Book Two, "Hanna's Army"

Author and artist Deborah Phipps began a desert inspired book cover for the upcoming novel "Hanna's Army" She has used oil on canvas for all of the pieces so far, which are featured in the gallery on the Home Page. The canvas for this piece is 28 X 34. The surreal style seems to indicate that something odd is happening with the butterflies and and someone in the background is causing a prismatic light to brighten the night skys. Deborah hopes to have the piece completted in the next month or two.
